Super Junior uses matrix cameras for their “Sexy, Free & Single” MV

Super Junior has revealed that they’ve employed the use of matrix cameras for their “Sexy, Free & Single” music video!

The music video was shot at a set in Gwangju mid last month and was directed by Hong Won Ki. To capture as much of the boys’ powerful performance as possible along with their group jump shot, the director brought in matrix cameras, amplifying the energy factor.

The video will be released for the first time through the boys’ comeback press conference on the morning of July 3rd and will be released later on the day  through their official homepage and YouTube.

Their teaser video alone has amassed over two million videos three days into its release, and the album ranked at the top of iTunes Japan‘s combined album and pop album chart, as well as ranking first on China’s ‘Ting‘, signifying the group’s global popularity.

Super Junior will mark their comeback through Mnet‘s ‘M! Countdown’ on the 5th.

Super Junior’s “Sexy, Free & Single” MV to be released on the 3rd worldwide

After releasing their 6th studio album online, Super Junior will finally release their title music video for “Sexy, Free & Single” worldwide on July 3rd (today).

The music video was shot in Namyangju in the Gyeonggi province and Gwangju in mid-June, produced under the director Hong Wonki, where Super Junior filmed an attractive and intense performance.

In particular, Super Junior’s jumping scenes were shot by a matrix camera, giving the video a very powerful and dynamic image.

Super Junior’s music video for “Sexy, Free & Single” will be introduced at their press conference today prior to being released online through Super Junior’s official website, SMTOWN’s YouTube channel and Super Junior’s Facebook page, effectively revealing it worldwide.

The group revealed the teaser music video on June 29th, which has since then garnered over 2 million views on YouTube, showing exactly how much interest their comeback has gained.

In the last two days, the 6th studio album, “Sexy, Free & Single” has topped iTunes overall album chart and the pop album chart in Japan, while the title track of the same name topped chart on Baidu ting.

Super Junior will hold their first comeback stage on Mnet “M! Countdown” on July 5th.

Super Junior LED advertisements light up Seoul + SM Entertainment to host special event for ELFs

From last week on, Super Junior’s comeback teasers have been playing on LED advertisement boards all over Seoul. Playing in the areas of Gwanghwamun, Myeongdong, and Gangnam, the LED advertisement boards have been increasing the anticipation for Super Junior’s comeback and have once more proven SM Entertainment’s ability to promote their artists on a grand scale.

Furthermore, Super Junior’s sixth album “Sexy, Free & Single,”which was released online on July 1st, has been ranking high on all of Korea’s music portals. Ranked number one on Soribada’s daily chart, the album has also managed to climb to the top of other music charts. The offline version of the album will be released July 4th.

In addition, Super Junior has also revealed the dates for their comeback stages on various music shows. Their first comeback stage will be on “M! Countdown” on July 5, followed by “Music Core” on July 7 and “Inkigayo” on July 8.

To celebrate the release of “Sexy, Free & Single,” SM Entertainment has decided to create a “Super Junior Photo Mosaic Event” where fans can submit pictures of themselves supporting the group’s new album.

These photos will be used to create a photo mosaic in the image of Super Junior and will be given as a gift to both Super Junior and ten lucky event participants. The time period for taking part in this event is July 2nd to July 16th, and winners of the gift will be announced on July 23rd at 12PM KST.

Super Junior promotes their new album via giant electric billboards on the streets of Seoul

Super Junior became a hot issue for utilizing huge electric billboards to promote their new album.

Since last weekend, a promotional video for Super Junior’s comeback was played on electric billboards through the streets of Seoul including Myeongdong, Gangnam, and Gwanghwamun and grabbed the people’s attention.

The group released their 6th album ‘Sexy, Free & Single‘ through various online music sites on July 1st and immediately took the number one spots on various daily charts.

Super Junior will officially launch their comeback with performances on Mnet‘s ‘M Countdown‘ on the 5th, MBC‘s ‘Music Core‘ on the 7th, and SBS‘ ‘Inkigayo‘ on the 8th. Fans all over the world are looking forward to the global hallyu king, Super Junior’s comeback with their new music and performances.

Super Junior to Host ‘Saturday Night Live Korea’

Known as the group that loves to goof off, Super Junior was chosen to host the upcoming episode of tvN’s Saturday Night Live Korea (SNL Korea).

With Super Junior’s recent comeback with its sixth album Sexy, Free & Single, all active Super Junior members are expected to appear on SNL Korea as hosts on July 14.

As this is the first time an idol group has appeared as a host on the program, the SNL Korea staff hasn’t yet decided whether or not to go with the show’s new age-restricted format.

Either way, the staff and fans alike are excited for the group to appear.

It is said that on the Super Junior episode, politician Jung Dong Young will also make a special appearance, making this a highly-anticipated episode.

With the new comedy format geared more towards adults, SNL Korea has been rising in popularity among the older population.

For season two, stars such as Shin Dong Yeop and Park Jin Young have hosted.
