Super Junior’s Leeteuk confesses his post-enlistment worries on KBS “Talk Show Do Dream”
Super Junior leader’s Leeteuk has confessed what he has been thinking about recently on a television show when asked about his military enlistment.
Leeteuk appeared on the July 7th episode of KBS “Talk Show Do Dream,” where he shared his dreams about his career and asked, “What do I do about my workaholic lifestyle?” He also confessed his worries about losing popularity.
He said, “I’ve worked 8 years straight without a break. I feel great feeling all the love, but I’m afraid of losing that love after my military services.”
“I feel like people around me are disappearing, so I feel lonely sometimes.”
Meanwhile, Leeteuk revealed on the show that he had dreamed of become an announcer while in high school.
Kang Sora Surprises Super Junior’s Leeteuk with a Spontaneous Kiss on “We Got Married”
According to MBC on July 6, Kang Sora and Super Junior’s Leeteuk went out on a dinner date to celebrate Leeteuk’s birthday during the recording for popular variety show “We Got Married.” During the dinner, Kang Sora surprised her make-believe husband with a piano cover of “She” from “NottingHill,” the same song he serenaded her at the Seoul concert of the “Super Junior World Tour – Super Show 4” last November. She sang the song while playing the piano, replacing “she” with “he.”
For his birthday present, Kang Sora prepared a white box full of white gifts, taking into consideration Leeteuk’s favorite color.
The two had a great time on their date, and as they were drinking wine, Kang Sora surprised him with a kiss. It’s been said that Leeteuk appeared flustered with her unexpected gesture.
Meanwhile, “We Got Married” will air Kang Sora and Leeteuk’s birthday date episode tomorrow, July 7, at 5:15PM KST.

Super Junior hosts press conference for new album
On July 3rd at the Imperial Palace Hotel, Super Junior held a press conference to celebrate the release of their sixth studio album “Sexy, Free & Single.” The press conference, which had more than 200 domestic and international media outlets in attendance, gave Super Junior members the opportunity to share their own personal thoughts on the new album.
The first person to speak was Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk, who opened the press conference by stating that although he was a nervous about the release of their new album, he was happy to have the opportunity to work with all his fellow members once again. After Leeteuk finished speaking, Shindong said, “Since Super Junior can also be considered a performance group, we hope that we can present even more exciting stages and performances through our new album.”
After each member briefly introduced himself, the various media outlets were able to ask Super Junior a few questions. The first question was regarding Super Junior’s photo teasers and the order in which they were released.
Leeteuk responded, “I really liked the theme behind Super Junior’s photo teasers. Before they were released, I had actually asked my manager what would determine the order in which the teasers would be revealed. My manager said that the first photo teaser to be released would have to be the most incredible and mind-blowing one.”
“Who knew it would have been Eunhyuk! You see, there are only two circumstances in which Eunhyuk looks handsome. The first one is where his bangs are so long that they cover his eyes, and the second one is when he is wearing sunglasses.”
Upon hearing Leeteuk’s response, Eunhyuk stated, “Actually, I heard that the teasers were released in the order of how good-looking each member was, so I was really excited when I heard that my photo teaser would be released first! However, when I saw the photo, I realized my eyes were covered, which also disappointed my parents a little.”
Fellow member Siwon then playfully rebutted Eunhyuk’s statement by saying, “Oh really? I heard that the photos were released based on who was the ugliest,” to which Eunyuk replied, “When the photo teasers for our fifth album [Mr. Simple] came out, everyone was discussing whether the order of the releases were based on appearances. I had initially thought that when the photos for our sixth album [Sexy, Free & Single] were released, no one would link appearances to the order of teasers, but it seems like I’ve been framed!”
After a few chuckles towards Eunhyuk’s response, the media proceeded to ask a second question, which was about the members’ reactions to the music video for “Sexy, Free & Single.”
Siwon immediately took this opportunity to apologize to Eunhyuk by saying, “After I saw the music video, I was amazed by how handsome Eunhyuk was!”
Leeteuk then immediately added, “Actually, we were all very handsome! I think that’s why we’re such a popular group…In fact, I think a safe estimate for the number of views we will get for our music video would be around 50,000,000!”
Fellow member Eunhyuk then said, “When I watched the music video in private, I really thought I was very good-looking, but now that I’m watching the music video with all these media outlets, I feel a little shy.”
Shindong then continued the conversation by saying, “Filming this music video took four days of hard work, so everyone, please support it!”
The next question came from a Taiwanese media representative who asked Super Junior, “Super Junior holds the record of a 109 week championship on Taiwan’s KKBOX. Do you guys have anything you want to say to your Taiwanese fans?”
Leeteuk responded, “We were all very surprised that we maintained the number one spot on KKBOX for 109 weeks. We’ve actually discussed whether or not we would be able to receive fans’ support for long, so we really hope that ‘Sexy, Free & Single’ can continue to top the charts and find favor with all of the listeners.”
“But ultimately, the ranking of Super Junior songs on music charts isn’t that important, what’s more important is that we thank the fans for their everlasting love and support. Super Junior will definitely visit Taiwan sometime soon to personally thank all the fans there!”
The next question of the press conference was, “How do Super Junior members maintain their health in the midst of such a busy schedule?”
Leeteuk once more took the mike and said, “Well, I just turned 30, but I’ve been exercising a lot to maintain my health. Furthermore, I take a lot of health supplements such as vitamin C pills and Omega 3 supplements. I also eat a lot of fruit and vegetables and foods that will give me a lot of energy.”
Upon hearing Leeteuk’s response, Siwon added, “Yeah, you can really tell when Leeteuk has been eating regularly or not. When Leeteuk doesn’t eat, his face turns super pale.”
Following Siwon’s statement, Eunhyuk suddenly blurted out, “I just need to eat the love of all my fans, and I will be fine,” to which Leeteuk added, “Me, too! I can eat everything and anything,” causing laughter to erupt in the room.
The next question was directed towards Kangin, who had just returned to Super Junior after completing his mandatory military service.
Kangin was asked to share his feelings on returning to Super Junior. Kangin said, “It’s been three years that I have not been in front of the public eye. During my military service, I often reflected on my past actions and choices, and I have realized that I have many bad habits that I need to change. I have been trying very hard to improve myself everyday as a person.”
“When I returned to Super Junior after my military service, I also saw how much each of my fellow members have changed as well and how much they have matured. In fact, right now, I feel like I am a student awaiting graduation, for I’m awaiting the time to finally step on the stage and perform once more. I’m very grateful to all my fellow members and SM for always supporting me and loving me.”
When Kangin finished his response, Leeteuk also shared his own thoughts on military service, as he is planning to enter the military after the promotions for “Sexy, Free & Single.”
Leeteuk stated, “In my opinion, I think Super Junior is like one big family. We may have our own personal business to deal with, but once we finish whatever it is we need to do, we always come back together. When I thought about my military service, I initially couldn’t sleep well at night, for I was nervous about going to a place where I’ve never gone before.”
“But once I thought of the military service as just one long personal activity like my all my other work activities outside of Super Junior, I felt more comfortable. Now I just want to quickly finish my service and return to Super Junior and release a new album!”
After Leeteuk’s response, all the members talked about how Leeteuk was a great leader and that if there was ever any issue, Leeteuk would gather all the members, listen to all the suggestions, and then relay the final consensus to the company. Therefore, the members stated they were worried about who would be the substitute leader when Leeteuk leaves for the army and whether the substitute could do as good of a job as Leeteuk.
When Leeteuk heard his members’ worries, he jokingly replied, “Well, if there is a substitute leader, it would be awkward once I return from the military because both of us would technically be leaders. So I declare that once I leave for the military, no one can take my spot as leader!”
It was with this light atmosphere that the press conference ended. Let’s wish Super Junior all the best for their sixth album “Sexy, Free & Single!”

Kangin opens up about past scandal
At a press conference for Super Junior’s sixth album “Sexy, Free & Single” in Gangnam, southern Seoul, yesterday, Kangin spoke out about his assault scandal from three years ago.
“After I went into hiding, I was so worried that the band would be labeled as the band that Kangin ruined. I wanted the band to rise to prominence as the band that rules Asia,” said the 27-year-old boy band member, who was recently discharged from the Army.
Kangin was involved in a drunken assault incident that saw him become an inactive member of K-pop band Super Junior.
While serving his two years of mandatory military service until April, Kangin said that he’d ask for permission to surf the Web for videos and the latest news on Super Junior.
“I’d cheer the group on, wishing each member all the best, but I never once thought I deserved to be there with them,” said Kangin. His presence in the band would have created negative publicity as it was his fault for “screwing up,” the singer added.

Member of Super Junior Kyuhyun attracts the media attention with his witty comments. At 11am today at Imperial Palace the press conference for 6 Jib was held. During the press conference, Kyuhyun was asked with questions like “I heard that in order for you to portray a sexy image in today’s press conference, you prepared something special?” Kyuhyun replied “Frankly speaking I’m not sexy at all hence I emphasise on the image of a strong and handsome youngster.” He continued on to say ” In order to give people a feel of the sexiness of a Dracula, I’m currently considering whether should I wear my makeup even whiter. Kyuhyun participated in last year’s KBS 2TV Immortal Song 2 and was praised greatly for his excellent singing. He says “The image that I want to show people is the image of me being a singer.” “In a group that dances, there is not much place for me to be able to stand out and hence being able to participate in Immortal Song 2, I felt really happy. If I had a chance again, I would want to be on show again.” In his conversation it expresses out his inner feelings.
After 11 months, this time Super Junior comes back with their album which includes their title song “Sexy Free & Single”, the other song that they are singing in their comeback stage “From U and other songs of R&B, dance, soothing genres, totalling to 10 songs in the album Title song ” Sexy Free & Single” not only that it has a modern feel , what attracts people’s attention was that this soulful house genre song plus it’s addictive chorus, its lyrics actually talks about the men that are free and single and sexy., They prepared a very organised dance that is special, a very powerful stage and planned a elegant feeling and performance which will once again rule all the fans around the world.

Super Junior’s “Sexy, Free & Single” MV surpasses 1 million views in under 12 hours + coverage in Poland
For most groups it takes a while to reach 1 million views on YouTube but that isn’t the case for Super Junior.
In under 12 hours since it’s release, Super Junior’s music video for “Sexy, Free & Single“ surpassed 1 million views on YouTube.
That wasn’t all, further proving their global popularity, Super Junior’s press conference for their sixth album was recently covered by a popular Polish news station. Poland was recently co-host for the UEFA Euro 2012.
Super Junior’s Leeteuk: “I’ll join the Army later this year”
Super Junior’s Leeteuk recently announced that he will join the Army later his year.
On July 3, Super Junior attended a press conference for their sixth album Sexy, Free & Single at Imperial Palace Hotel in Seoul.
When Leeteuk was asked about his plan for joining the Army, he replied, “I’m planning to join the Army later this year.”
He added, “I think joining the Army is the biggest assignment and the longest schedule for me. I’ve worried a lot about joining the Army because there will be lots of things I don’t know about. But I want to enter the Army soon and come back as a member of Super Junior to release our next albums.”
“I hope that we can become a group, which is not limited to the number of members. Each member can do their own businesses freely like a house, which is frequented by many visitors.”
When Leeteuk was asked which member he would choose as group leader after he joins the Army, he made people laugh by saying, “The post will remain vacant. I’m not that good at singing and dancing and the only thing that I’m good at is being a leader. I think I will feel sad if one of the members becomes a powerful leader.”

An unexpected friend of Super Junior’s Leeteuk is currently attracting a lot of attention.
On July 2, Leeteuk uploaded a picture on his Twitter account with the comment, “Shin Hye and Hwa Yeon offered me to have a dinner with them after they saw me exercising by myself at the gym on my birthday. Thank you so much, Shin Hye, Hwa Yeon, Sangchu, Donghae, Min Hyun, and Young Man!”

When Kangin was asked about his life in the Army, he replied, “I started to think of the SNSD members as ladies 4 months after I joined the Army.”
He added, “I’ve known them since they were little and they have become gorgeous ladies after releasing their album Oh. I was watching TV one day and I felt like Taeyeon was winking at me. I visited the agency during my vacation, I hugged SNSD tight in spite of myself.”
“I’ve rested for 3 years but I don’t know how the time passed by so fast. Many things have changed during the past 3 years. I’m 29 years old now. I was 26 years old 3 years ago but now those people who are 26 seem very young to me. I think I was too happy when I was young.”
After Kangin had an incident in 2009, involving drunk driving and assault, he decided to join the Army to serve his duty.

Super Junior’s Kim Ki Bum reveals, “I even go to clubs with my girlfriend.”
A former member of Super Junior and actor Kim Ki Beom revealed his view of love.
On the interview that was on July edition of men’s magazine, Maxim, Kim revealed, “I don’t try to hide about my relationships. I even went to a club with my girlfriend.”
In the pictorial of the magazine, Kim revealed his muscular body and showed off his manly charms.
Kim said, “I have been working out for a long time. It has been seven years since I started to learn boxing from the trainer of the movie Crying Fist. I also had an intensive workout session for six weeks because I play the role of a swimmer on tvN’s I Love Lee Tae Ri.”

Actor Kim Kibum recently showed off his talented cooking skills.
In the 11th episode of tvN’s I Love Lee Tae Ri, which aired on July 2, Kim (who plays the role of Hwang Min Soo) cooked for his lovely girlfriend Park Ye Jin (who plays the role of Lee Tae Ri) to have dinner with his fake brother and Lee’s best friend.
Park was excited to cook and she said, “Since your brother is coming, I will cook it myself.” However, Park looked like she has never cooked before, so Kim had to help her.
Even though he cooked a delicious meal, he made the audience laugh by cutting the cucumber into un-even slices.

Super Junior recently released their 6th album Sexy, Free & Single on July 1st through online music portals and though the physical album will be released on July 4th, many were wondering what the poster would look like.
After all, with a concept of ‘beautiful males’ it would be interesting to see what SM came up with. And the end result is above: different angles of the members from their teaser shots. Beautiful, yes, but SM, no group picture? Totally boring

I think this might be one of the reasons that makes the imaginary romantic dramas have such good responses.ePop: In “I Love Italy” drama, you’re a swimmer, and you had showed sturdy abs, how long have you been keeping fit?
Kibum: I have been in training for 6 weeks. As an actor, you have to work hard to make sure that the appearance suits the character in the drama. (smile)ePop: You have to act as a 14 -year-old teenager, have you ever feel worried?
Kibum: Actually, I do feel a bit worried, but nonetheless, I still have the naivety, haven’t I? Now that you’re living with your mother once again, how does it feel?
Kbum: I think my naivety came back as soon as I got to live with my mother. At times, I do feel the need to be pampered. And I thank my mother for that as she helped me a lot in giving out the character of a teenager in me.ePop: What do you do in your usual days?
Kibum: Em.. My life is quite simple. Whenever I have a break, I’d be going to the gym. After that, I’ll go home and watch DVD before sleeping. Sometimes, I’ll watch the variety/entertainment programmes.ePop: How do you feel when acting in the historical “Deep Rooted Tree” drama with seniors Han Suk-kyu and Jang Hyuk?
Kibum: I gained a lot of experiences by acting with these seniors and in a way, it gives me benefits. And senior Han Suk-kyu is one senior who can always answer my questions whenever he can. During the shooting, I have developed an interest to become actors like them. Their attitudes towards the characters and even the shooting are just so impressive!ePop: Do you ever feel worried as to a long absent from the view of the audiences?
Kibum: No, as long as I am still here, learning very passionately on the acting techniques, as for now. I am thankful to be able to do something that I love.ePop: Do have any comment that you really want to hear the most?
Kibum: I would like to receive compliments. As I am serious in acting, thus I specifically asked the company (SM) to stop other activities so that I can keep my focus on acting. Moreover, I always communicate with friends and seniors who act together with me. I gained a lot of experiences from the conversations. Maybe I’ll continue to keep myself in the shadow, even when I’m 30.

Kibum: When I was acting in “Joomoonjin” movie, the director once said that viewers in reality sometimes do have the urge to run away from their real lives. I think this might be one of the reasons that makes the imaginary romantic dramas have such good responses.ePop: In “I Love Italy” drama, you’re a swimmer, and you had showed sturdy abs, how long have you been keeping fit?
Kibum: I have been in training for 6 weeks. As an actor, you have to work hard to make sure that the appearance suits the character in the drama. (smile)ePop: You have to act as a 14 -year-old teenager, have you ever feel worried?

Super Junior members reveal they made plans to take turns serving military duty
At the press conference for the release of their 6th album ‘Sexy, Free & Single‘ on July 3rd KST, the Super Junior members revealed that they’ve decided to take turns enlisting for their mandatory military service.Shindong stated, “Once, all the members discussed our plans for military enlistment all day. Should we all enlist at once, one at a time, half and half, we considered a lot of options and decided that it’s best to go one at a time in order to maintain Super Junior.”Yesung: “I’m curious about what will happen after Leeteuk hyung goes, but it’s a relief that no matter who leaves for the military, we’ll maintain our team. I think it’s good that the other members can still be active despite one or two enlisting.”Eunhyuk: “I’d like for Super Junior to exist for a long time. Super Junior Says It’s Happy About Its Success
The Super Junior members thanked everyone for their success and said they were very happy about it.
The group made its comeback official through the press conference for its sixth studio album held on July 3 in Seoul.
Super Junior thus launched its full-fledged promotion for its sixth album with the conference on July 4, 11 months since its last album.
The return of Kangin, who hadn’t been seen since 2009, gathered more attention to the event. Kangin got involved in DUI and assault incidents in 2009, and after staying quiet for a while, entered the army as an active duty officer in July 2010.
He was released in April 2012 and was able to join the group again for its new album.
This day, Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk said, “I want to say that Super Junior is a success.
