It is amazing how much progress Radio Star MC Kyuhyun has made.

MBC Radio Star’s maknae MC Kyuhyun has showed amazing improvements. Last year October, when he replaced original MC Heechul, he was just a newbie, but in 8 months, he rose to being the much anticipated MC.

When Kyuhyun first joined Radio Star, everyone was confused. It was odd that Kyuhyun, who had no experience of being an MC at all, had joined Radio Star, a show that was much anticipated.

He placed himself next to Kim Gura and was on his way to being the next critic, and soon created the character of ‘Wicked Idol’ among veteran entertainers. Not only was he able to attack Kim Gura with Yoo Seyoon, who joined later, but also was able to ask sensitive and mean questions to the guests without any reluctance. He was even more noticed when Kim Gura left. Many people have helped him, but this can be seen as Kyuhyun’s effort and talent.

A newbie’s critical words may seen rude. But, Kyuhyun’s criticism with his trademark bright smile and on top of that the non-perfection made his character much approchable. Guests have reacted positively to Kyuhyun’s such criticism, and some guests even showed a different side, causing much laughter.

However, Kyuhyun isn’t all that wicked. When the other MCs are cruel to the guests, the target that the guests can put out their anger on is Kyuhyun. He would be having fun making fun of the guests, but when the guests attack him back, he would be startled and not be able to reply back.

Radio Star is still unstable from Kim Gura’s absense. In such situations, Kyuhyun’s contribution will be the key to the stability as one of the msot popular shows. Therefore, Park Misun’s words on the show aired on the 27th come closer to heart “This guy is something.”
